You may benefit from lip treatment. I have been performing lip procedures for over 10 years now with successful aesthetic outcomes.
Thank you for sharing your concern and photo. Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane or Restylane Silk would be good options for rejuvenating your lip and perioral area. Symmetry and proportions could be improved with these non-invasive procedures. Good luck!Dr. Harmych
Kindfrau,I can see somewhat of what you are describing.Have you had any filler before?I would not say your lips are ugly. Lips come in all shapes and sizes.I perform a lot of lip injections with fillers such as juvederm to help improve shape and it works great. For patients looking for a more long lasting result, I recommend fat grafting. That is, using your own bodies fat to make your lips naturally look more shapely. The bonus is that the results last many many years. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions.I hope this was helpful,Dr. Daniel BarrettPlastic SurgeryBeverly Hills, CA
Thanks for your question and I would recommend that you have aconsultation with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to learn what the best treatment options are for you – whether fillers can be used or whether a surgical procedure is needed.
In general, suction devices are not great options for the face as they can create vascular issues as well as the likely temporary nature of the results. The best treatment options for lips are hyaluronic acid based fillers for most patients and some patients using fat grafting.
They are easy to remove and the cost should be less than $600-$800 dollars in most practices. However your original surgeon may remove them for less if he or she knows that you are not happy.
