Why is it that every time I have lip fillers put in they look like fish lips?

I suggest you go to an expert injector.  Sometimes injected in the lips and around them help to give a balanced look.  Cannulas help improve the results and decrease pain/swelling and bruising.  You need a formal consultation, and to post photos on here for us to give a better answer. I appreciate your concern, but perhaps your injector is either too aggressive, using too much filler, or it is being placed in the wrong area. I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm plus. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck

The initial response of a HA filler is to attract water to itself, thus swelling insures! Discuss with your filler doctor.....
