Hi, I’m a healthy female in my late 20s. BMI: 24. Scheduled to have a BBL in February 2022, 5 weeks from now. Tested positive for Latent TB Infection (LTBI) many years ago. Never been treated for it, but chest X-ray results have always been normal. I plan to contact my plastic surgeon ASAP to let them know I have LTBI (I forgot to report this during my consultation). Will my surgery be cancelled due to my diagnosis of LTBI, even if chest X-rays are normal (last chest X-ray done 2 weeks ago)? TY!
