Anytime you have treatments which irritate the skin such as lasers, chemicals or mechanical such as microneedling with plasma you can get pimples or whithead as the new skin is coming in. Using a gentle cleanser with a mild exfoliant such as salicylic or glycolic acid should help. It should improve with several weeks. If it doesn't you may need to revisit your provoder
Thank you for your question. It is possible for PRP to initially irritate the skin causing a flair of pimples and whiteheads. The growth factors sometimes irritate the skin cells. We use PRP in our acne acne toolbox, so you should see an improvement over the next several weeks. Useing a hypoallergenic, oil free wash and gentle skin cleanser should improve your skin till the growth factors take effect.
