I had my face injected with Juvederm XL, botox, and POD threads on my nasolabial. Dr. Clearfield is an amazing precise injecter. Hes 20 years of experience as an injector definitely knows how to make you feel beautiful.
I have not seen any results whatsoever. Now I have to say my doctor (Dr. Clearfield) Reno, Nevada has said he would make things right, but he can't do anything for at least 12 weeks from the original. I have been having Botox and Juvederm for over eight years and have ALWAYS had GREAT results so I know when things work or not. I pay about $1,200 to $1,400 when I have my Botox and Juvederm and this cost way more than that with no results. If your doctor will always do good by you, you might want to try, but again, I saw absolutely nothing.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the art of removing a vial of your own blood and extracting the platelets which contain growth factors to rejuvenate tissue. We love using PRP for under-eye hollows as it yields a smooth, natural look. I liken PRP as a "cousin" to stem cells. It PRP stimulates your own production of whatever tissue it is placed in. Under the eye, it stimulates skin, blood vessel,s and collagen formation. As it is your own tissue, the "risk" of allergic reaction is zero. We see an almost immediate result with smoothing and filling of the hollow, then a bit of regression as the growth factors begin to take root, then a gradual new firmness over the next six months. . The likelihood of vascular occlusion with PRP is practically zero. Unlike dermal fillers, if PRP would be injected into a small vessel, it would be absorbed and dissipated. Dermal fillers, which we do inject on occasion under the eye, can occlude blood vessels and necrose the surrounding tissue.

We like a combination of bipolar radiofrequency, via the EVOKE device followed by barbed PDO threads to aid in the lift. Bipolar radiofrequency, or EVOKE, the first hands-free skin remodeling platform to have temperature monitoring and automatic, user-programmable, the temperature on/off control. No needles, no anesthesia. Evoke is an innovative non-invasive solution designed specifically to target facial tissue. It is a simple non-surgical alternative to remodel your face, chin, and jawline needed. Treatments are customized and tailored to address your specific needs so the end result is a naturally younger-looking appearance without downtime.Evoke: requires a minimum of three sessions followed by:PDO Threadlift-Smooth threads typically needed under the chin to finish the lift (if needed at all) PDO Barbed Threads- for an adjunct to radiofrequency. Procedure must be delayed for up to 4 weeks before and after Evoke
The short answer is yes. We frequently combine modalities to gain maximum benefit. Typically we like to outline the vermillion border (the lip skin n=border) with threads and use fillers in the body of the lip. Typically, with lip procedures, patients hate the look at first. Sample Patient:Day One, "I'm swollen" why did I do this?Day Two, "I have brui=sing, why did I do this?""Day Three, "More swelling" FIllers attract water causing the lips to look swollen.Day 4-6, "The brusing is going away.Day 7, "Swelling is going down. Day 10 "You know, it's looking a lot better. My lips are fuller.Day 20, "I love it."Day 30 "I really love it but I want more volume." And so we proceed. You need to wait 2-4 weeks before you decide you don't like the look of your procedure whether they be fillers, threads botox, platelet-rich plasma or fibrin or any combination of the same. Patients are seen every four weeks with follow-ups and adjustments are made as needed or according to your wishes. Typically we like to do fillers first then place the threads over them, but it is perfectly acceptable to use fillers after threads
What type of hair loss are you experiencing? Finasteride and dutasteride are indicated for male pattern baldness. In male-pattern baldness, hair falls out in clear, recognizable patterns. Hair loss due to thyroid conditions results in a diffuse thinning across your entire scalp. Both dutasteride and finasteride are 5 alpha-reductase inhibitors inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the more potent version of testosterone and accounts for many symptoms including prostatic enlargement and hair loss. Finasteride blocks type II 5AR, and dutasteride blocks type I and II 5 AR. Type III is quite minute and not considered germane to the efficacy of the either drug. Finasteride is 70 % effective in blocking 5AR while dutasteride is 98 +% effective. These medications are effective for male pattern baldness. If you are experiencing hair loss on them, you need to have an evaluation. The thyroid gland is particularly involved in overall hair thinning on the scalp. Othe areas to explore are nutritional adequacy and some medications have hair loss as a side effect.Medications include: Antibiotics: gentamicin, chloramphenicolAnticoagulants: warfarin, heparinAntidepressants: fluoxetine, desipramine, lithiumAnticonvulsants: valproic acid, phenytoin, carbamazepineCardiovascular meds: ACE inhibitors, beta-blockersChemotherapy drugs: doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposideEndocrine drugs: bromocriptine, clomiphene, danazolGout medications: colchicine, allopurinolLipid-lowering drugs: gemfibrozil, fenofibrate, cholestyramine, clofibrateNSAIDS: ibuprofen, indomethacin, naproxenReflux/ulcer medications: cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidineAntithyroid drugs: iodine, PTURetinoids: vitamin A overdose, isotretinoin I hope this helps!
