Removing tattoos with bioplasma or Plex(e)r?

Question

I contacted a doctor to tell me about removing a tattoo with the technique of bioplasma. It 'a scam? Damages the skin? basically told me that it takes away a layer of the dermis. I am not convinced. What do you think?

I agree that the 2 most effective techniques are Q switched lasers with nanosecond burst technology and PicoSure which uses picosecond burst technology. The latter is effective in clearing green and blue pigment. It is less optimal for red inks. The 532 nm Q switched Nd YAG laser is best for clearing red inks.

The only proven method of tattoo removal without scarring is with Q-switched and Picosend laser.Methods that burn or destroy the skin such as tattooing in acid or using heat generating devices can remove tattoo but they will always scar.  Some people are lucky and can heal the damage with mild scarring but there is always the risk of more severe scarring and keloid, particularly if you have darker skin.
