Within 3-4 months hair growth was amazing with little shock loss. Had 2nd fue for crown area October 2019 with 3800 grafts with a lot of shock loss. Hair growth after 5 1/2 months isn’t anywhere as good. Does the crown transplants take that much longer to regrow. Thanks
Answer: If you are having issues after your surgery, the best person to ask is your surgeon who knows the specifics of your surgery. If you are having issues after your surgery, the best person to ask is your surgeon who knows the specifics of your surgery. Shock loss is always a risk and it is difficult to assess this on the Internet or with photos. You need a before and after comparison. You need an examination.

Answer: Crown FUE We normally see a delay in crown growth compared to the frontal forelock and hairline. We typically tell patients we do a 6 month follow up for the front and a one year follow up for the back.

Answer: Crown recovers the latest Due to the position of the crown on scalp, its recovery is slower compared to front and the top. This is mainly because of the lack of enough muscles, which help activity on skin. This causes slower nurturing on crown and therefore we recommend our patients to wait up to 18 months to see the final results on crown.

Answer: Crown growth rate Hello, great question. For some reason the growth rate on the crown does sometimes grown more slowly than other areas. Add slow growth to the shock loss you experienced and I understand why you are frustrated. You need to be patient and you should see results happening little by little and by around 8 months you should see good progress. I hope this helps. Good luck.
