If I get a breast reduction at the same time as a TT and lipo 360, will it reduce my out of pocket cost?

These two procedures can be performed by an expert at both procedures at the same time (6 hours or less) with favorable outcome, one recovery, and less expense. If you have reached a safe, stable weight (BMI 30 or less), and are otherwise healthy, you can be considered for tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery at the same time.

Your safety will have to be carefully assessed by your surgeon and your primary care Physician. It is definitely common combining breast reduction surgery and other cosmetic procedures at the same time. With insurance covering the breast reduction surgery that typically covers the anesthesia cost as well, so the overall cost for the cosmetic anesthesia portion of the procedure may be slightly reduced, but not by much unfortunately.
I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

For my patients, I tell them that I don't know what their agreement is with their insurance plan for payment for surgeries and deductibles. So I don't know what the final cost will be for their breast reduction. For the cosmetic portion of tummy tuck with lipo, it is quoted in hours of time, so that cost becomes fixed. I often do an insurance breast reduction and a cosmetic tummy tuck together (a kind of mommy makeover). However, we document the time when we switch to cosmetic. So they end up being very different, clear surgeries and there is not much cost advantage to doing it with the insurance portion. Hope this helps.
