I am 5'4", 106lbs (tiny!), and my breast size is currently 74cms under my bust, 88-92cms over my bust so roughly a 34DD-E. MRIs reveal VERY dense breasts. I am seeing many women here the same breast size as me who have had >300grams taken out. So WHY???! only 200-250g in my case??! Is he being super conservative? Is this an Orange County cultural thing??! Please advise! I'm devastated! I'm so uncomfortable but 200g hardly seems worth putting myself through this!

Answer: 200-250 g Breast Reduction Thank you for your pictures. It looks like more than 200 to 250 g can be removed in my opinion. You must rely on your plastic surgeon's judgment and physical examination for the final determination on what he or she believes it is the right amount to remove for an excellent results and minimal to no complications.

Answer: Breast Reduction - only 200g - 250g can be removed? Doesn't seem like much! He says he can't remove any more than that. I appreciate your question. For improvement in shape and volume, a conservative reduction and lift would yield a very nice result with a 200 -250 g reduction. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck!
