I have 2 soft raised bumps inside my nose (probably about 5mm length x 2mm height & depth) near the nostrils on the septum - one on either side. There are some bumps in other places, but they are smaller. I had primary rhinoplasty (closed) w/ septoplasty on 6/26/12. Will these eventually heal to a smooth surface like before the surgery? Thank you.
Answer: Internal Nasal Bumps After Rhinoplasty
Dear Kitene,
It is too early to consider that most of your swelling has resolved at a month post-op.
Usually it takes about 12 months for the swelling to be completely eliminated hence the end-results will get established.
At the end, mother nature will take its course and your internal nasal bumps will resolve along with the swelling.
I recommend that you be a little more patient and follow your surgeon's instructions religiously. Protecting your nose from accidental traumas is essential.
Also, I advise you to keep your surgeon in the current of your progress as he/she knows the full details of your surgery.
Thank you for your inquiry and the best of luck to you.

Answer: Irregular Bumps Inside my Nose After Rhinoplasty. Will This Heal Smoothly? 4 Wks Post.
You are so early in the healing process. Things will change so much over the next 10 months. I would give it time and if by one year things are not better then you need to be up front with your surgeon. If I were you I would voice your concerns to you surgeon and see what they have to say. If you had septal surgery or an open Rhinoplasty then you will have some lumps and bumps that over time will most likely resolve.

Answer: Bumps inside nose
These may be related to early scar tissue or the sutures that were placed inside your nose. These generally resolve with time and you should not worry about their presence right now...it is too early in the hearing process.
