Hi I had vaser lipo on my abdomen 8 weeks ago still swelling also have deep crease and an air pocket near the crease with a hard lump underneath massaging twice a day but don't seem to see any improvement also skin has gone darker and wrinkled, also puffiness on lower belly (no fluid) which is soft to touch, please advice if there is anything I can do to get better results and will these improve? This will need a surgical repair to get improvement.  I suggest at this time massage and RF treatments like exilis or venus legacy.  In the end though, surgery is goign to give the most improvement. Best, Dr. Emer.

hello pami1  Recovery is mostly base on the level of soreness or bruising that you may experience, however, most activity is unlikely to delay healing or create problems with recovery.  Many studies indicate that there is also less injury than the traditional liposuction method resulting in less pain, swelling and bruising.  Final results can be seen 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern. #swelling #results
