What are these shadows under my lips and is there a way to get rid/remove them? (photos)

For as long as I can remember I've had these shadows under my lips and I have no idea what they are. While I'm not particularly bothered by them they do make me feel self conscious at times so I would like to know if there's any way to get rid of them or to make the shadows a little more subtle.

There is no age requirement to get any procedure done. Most board-certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons would probably recommend that someone be at least 18 years of age before doing a lip enhancement procedure. Only a combination procedure will truly address this problem.   I  find for my patients  doing a chemodermabrasion offers supurb results.    Don't waste your money on Botox or chem peels for this as they are ineffective     Fillers are useless

Thank you for your question.  Fillers are not permanent however Permalip Implants are very safe, permanent and give a natural result.  They are performed under a local anaesthetic, with a downtime of approx 7 days due to bruising and swelling.  You can use cool packs to help reduce.  All The Best
