I turn 30 soon and I am really considering a mini lift. Although the most comfortable in my body I've ever been, my face looks a lot older than I am. In the last 10 years I smoked a lot, slept very little and with the bonus of genetics, my face has sagged quite a lot for my age. I've always looked older but it's becoming noticeably worse. My eyes are hollow with dark circles (genetics again) and always carried weight on my lower cheeks. Would a mini lift remove these without being obvious?
Answer: Facelift Under Local Anaesthetic Thank you for your pictures. You would need an examination to see how lax your skin was, however from the pictures I can see some elasticity, a facelift under local anaesthetic maybe a good option for you. Most of my patient want a facelift however do not want the downtime associated. The Concept Facelift is the procedure I perform, which combines the latest surgical techniques with the use of local anaesthetic to dramatically reduce the risks associated with traditional facelifts, while significantly reducing the bruising and downtime of your recovery, from months to a matter of days. If you have lax facial skin, lost volume and feel that you have jowls and wrinkles on your cheeks and you look tired when you're not then the concept facelift can help improve your appearance. With concept facelift you will look natural and fresh just like the way you feel inside. There are no bandages, drains and hospital stay but with lasting results of traditional facelift techniques it fits with today's age. What are the benefits of a local anaesthetic facelift? Minimally invasive as it is a short scar faceliftThere is minimal bruising and swelling, especially when compared to traditional faceliftsAs the procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, you can go straight home following the procedureFull recovery in a matter of days rather than monthsSignificantly less risk than Facelifts performed under general anaestheticFresh, youthful and long lasting resultsThis can be combined with many other procedure such as fillers or fat transfer to add volume to the face or upper / lower eyelid surgery Please make sure you find a reputable and qualified plastic surgeon who can assess you properly to give you a realistic idea of what outcome you can achieve. All The Best

Answer: What a mini lift can do A Mini lift is designed to tighten and re drape the jawline and neck skin. It is meant to do this in the least invasive way possible. This is done by shortening the skin incisions and limiting the amount of skin that is undermined relative to a formal facelift. As a result the surgery is quicker, the anesthesia required is lighter and the recovery time is shorter. It is not as powerful a lift as can be achieved from a traditional full facelift so its more appropriate for a younger age group that doesn't need as big a pull. Facial volumization is another useful tool. It does not tighten or re-drape the skin but can add fullness and shape to areas of the face that can deflate with age or weight loss. This is achieved by injecting commercial fillers or a patients own fat into the deflated areas. The effect of Volume can enhance the results of facelift surgery and for some patients it's really all they need.I would recommend you consult with a practice that does all of these treatments so you get an unbiased opinion as to what would be most h helpful for you.Good luck!

Answer: Mini-Facelift Hi and thanks for your question and photos. Yes, you are on the young side for surgery, but it does appear that you would benefit from a mini-facelift. You don't need a bigger traditional facelift. Good luck.

Answer: Options for facial rejuvenation Thank you for the pictures. I do see that you have volume loss in the cheek area and you have mild jowling or sagging skin along your jawline. You may be a candidate for a milift and I would consider some kind of facial volumizing such as a facial fat transfer (once again, its hard to tell without examining you). Another options would be to consider something noninvasive for lower face skin tightening such as Ultherapy. That may also lift, tone and tighten enough to give you the results you are looking for.

Answer: Best Procedure for My F ace at Age 30 I agree with you about the genetics that you may not have the tightest skin for your age, however there are some non surgical procedures that because of your young age your would respond quite well for skin tightening. Also the hallow under your lower eyelids give you a tired appearance. I would start with filler under your lower lids and do this twice a year. Use a hyaluronic acid based filler for this area. For your midface and jawline my recommendation is to use radio frequency skin tightening treatment such as Forma from Inmode. Start with 5 treatments in quick succession and then do 3-4 per year. This will have a face lift like effect on your face
