I am thinking of getting Botox for my bunny lines but I am afraid my smile may be affected. Is there a certain point that has to be injected or basically can anywhere on the nose be safe?

Hello, thank you for your question. Botox will not lift, change the shape of your nose or affect your smile if it's properly injected. You would benefit from Botox on each side of your nose to help soften the bunny lines and relax the muscle. Seek a reputable injector who can provide the result you wish to achieve.

When Botox is injected to treat the bunny lines of the nose, it is injected directly into the area of the lines.  This is not near the mouth area.  I have never had a patient had their smile affected by treating the bunny lines with Botox.

Using Botox as an injection to relax muscles at the top of the nose will help in reduction of wrinkles in that area. The area injected is the nasalis muscle which will not affect your smile. The small wrinkles will smooth out with a few units on each side and is a safe area for Botox injections.
