I advised my patients to "use their treated muscles" for the rest of the day after receiving Botox, to increase Botox penetration into the treated muscles. Therefore, I would encourage eating after Botox treatment around the mouth. This would help to "get the Botox into the muscles". This is also why we discourage people from exercising for 24 to 48 hours after receiving Botox treatment. Avoidance of exercise after Botox treatment decreases the dispersement of Botox from the treated area, making the Botox treatment more effective.

Eating or drinking after botox injection is not an issue, however I would wait a few hours before eating or drinking after botox injection.
Thank you for sharing your question. yes you can eat after Botox without any negative consequences.
I would see no problem with eating after a Botox treatment to the mouth and lip area. You may want to check with the physician treating you with Botox though, because your physician may have a different opinion.
You can eat after botox or filler. If you are referring to the Botox kicking in and reducing movement, you may not be able to fully purse your lips or drink from a straw.
The short answer to your question is that it would probably be best to avoid eating foods like steak that require forceful chewing and to avoid pursing your lips or sipping through straws, etc. for at least four hours afterward. I have personally been treating patients for over a quarter of century with microdroplets of Botox injected in particular locations around the mouth in order to treat the vertical so-called lipstick bleeding or bar code lines and have found the above recommendations to be successful and well tolerated.
If you have been numbed either topically or with a block after mouth and lip injections, it's best to wait until the numbing has completely worn off before you eat or you may bite your lips or tongue. Otherwise, it's safe to eat after.
