Question

My forehead is quite round and is 5cm. I want to add about a 1 centimetre or 1.5? How many grafts would I need? How much would it cost? I have always been very self conscious about my forehead and considering to get this procedure done very soon? Can anybody give me any recommendations?

If you want general estimates the cost of such surgery can range from $5000 to $10,000.  You will not likely get the fullness of your normal hair with one surgery no matter how many grafts are recommended.  Hair transplant surgery can give you a great hairline but it cannot give you density with one surgery.  The point I am trying to make is do not focus on the number of grafts. Seek out the right doctor, focus on what a doctor recommends and ask to see or speak to prior patients (If you ever get to make a consultation ). A good doctor can make 1000 grafts look great. A bad doctor can make you regret 2000 grafts for the rest of your life.

Hairline lowering ranges from $6,000 and up.  Hair transplantation for this type of scenario would require over 1500 grafts at 5 to 7 dollars a graft.  Hope that helps.

The cost depends on the number of grafts needed.  You need to see a hair transplant specialist for a in person consult or send some pictures from the front to do a virtual consult.  However, based on the limited view on the picture you submitted, I suggest about 1500 to 2000 grafts to lower you hair line using one and two hair units  following the direction of your own existing  hair and also blending into your own existing hair line to make it look natural.
