My left thigh is very badly bruised but my right isn't. Does this mean it has worked better on one leg!!!
Answer: Bruising on one CoolSculpted Leg But Not Other? Bruising and Side Effects Don’t Affect CoolSculpting Outcome Side effects to CoolSculpting tend to be related to the skin and other tissues. They are very transient and should quickly resolve. The only thing that affects CoolSculpting results is the number of fat cells killed during the procedure. That tends to be about the same when two sides of the body are treated at once. Your situation doesn’t indicate that one side was treated more aggressively; it just means that a portion of your skin is more sensitive than the other. You should begin seeing your results in about 3 months after your last treatment. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist about whatever treatments you may have coming up in the future.

Answer: Bruising Bruising after CoolSculpting is totally normal and not something you should be too concerned over. It typically lasts a few days to a few weeks and will go away over time. If you are having more serious issues or the bruising does not go away, I would recommend following up with the doctor that performed the procedure.

Answer: CoolSculpting Hello,Thank you for your question. Bruising does not determine the results at all. Different areas can react differently. Best of luck!

Answer: Bruising on only one side after CoolSculpting to inner thighs Bruising or redness is possible after a CoolSculpting treatment but this does not occur in most cases. If it does occur, it is not uncommon that it would happen just on one side or sometimes both sides could be affected but one side would be worse. Having bruising is not related to the effectiveness of the treatment, so I would not be concerned that you only had it on one side. The bruising is a result of the suction to draw the tissue in and not from the cooling effect.

Answer: Coolsculpting Results--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER, ThermiRF No, bruising can be variable and isn't an indicator of your results. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing to improve your final results. In our office we use Coolsculpting and Vanquish for a "Fire and Ice" treatment and are getting great outcomes. However, VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF would give you best results for body shaping, but would require more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
