I am now 2 weeks post FUE transplant op. Is it safe to go back to using my alpecin shampoo the way it's suppose to be used eg. Leave on scalp for 2 minutes before rinsing?and cans can I give a gentle scrub in the transplant area in shower?

Answer: It is always a good idea to ask your doctor for post operative questions and types of products you can use.
Keloiding and hypertrophic scarring can occur anytime to anyone. If you have a history of it than the chances are obviously higher. FUE is usually talked about in terms of small scars. It is true. But there are MANY MANY small scars produced by FUE that is not talked about and they coalesce...
An FUE is treated just
like a regular hair transplant with regard to the recipient area, but the donor
area has open wounds which require daily washing with soap and water. Within 3
days of surgery, you can resume full activities, heavy exercises if you wish.
The recipient area requires daily...
It looks like you may be experiencing shock loss from the hair transplant surgery. Generally the majority of this hair comes back. I would recommend you follow up with your doctor who can examine you in person and better discuss what exactly is going on.
