I got fillers done 5 days ago. My family is making fun of me for because my top lip is pointy. I also don't like it. Will it settle still? Is it normal for small lips to do this?could I get rid of it?

It can take around two weeks to see your final results from lip fillers for a couple of reasons. First, it can take this amount of time for the filler to settle into place. Secondly, swelling and bruising are common in the delicate lip area, which could be contributing to the “pointy” look you’ve described. I would suggest giving it another week and seeing if you notice an improvement. If you’re still not happy with your results around the two-week mark, talk with your provider about your options. If you used a hyaluronic acid injectable, it can be dissolved. Good luck.

It appears your upper lip was over-injected relative to your lower lip.  Lower lips should be bigger than upper, and your ratio has been altered.  There still may be some settling, but most likely you will need a balancing injection in the lower lip in order to achieve a more natural look.

It is not unusual to have swelling after lip injections.  Sometimes this swelling can give a distorted look.  You should wait about 2 weeks until things settle down. If you still have concerns at 2 weeks  you should follow up with your provider.  Fillers in the lips can be dissolved.
