I encourage you to visit with a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. It may be unrelated to breast implants. Possible irritants are fragrance, soap, and detergent.
I would go see a board-certified plastic surgeon (with plastic surgery residency and aesthetic fellowship training) for a consultation. Alternatively, you can also see a dermatologist to ensure that this is not some other issue related to the skin. Sorry I cannot provide further guidance, but providing medical advice without a physical exam is quite challenging. Best of luck!
Dear itsneigh,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thanks for your question! My suggestion is to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist to find out what is causing this rash. Best wishes!
You appear to have hypertrophic scarring which probably can be helped with steroid injections. Please go back to your surgeon.
