What cc implants is best for me? I would like largish boobs (in the Double D area). I'm currently a size B/C. I am aware of slight sagging so I have been told I need largish implants to help 'fill them out' and slightly raise the nipple. (I'm not wanting a lift at this stage) Last picture is dream boobs. Thanks!
Answer: Implant size Dear Newme1806, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Implant size Selecting the correct implant involves several steps. Besides the volume (how many cc's) you must also decide on profile, style, and type. This is best done during a consultation with your board certified plastic surgeon. During this important meeting your surgeon will measure your breasts (this is different than bra size measurements) and discuss your goals for surgery. This information will be combined to determined a range of implants to consider. I've included a video on this process that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Size I would suggest meeting with a board-certified plastic surgeon, being examined and measured, and trying on the range of sizes that best fits your frame and tissue. There you can actually see what you like.

Answer: Wish pic is possible, but maybe not recommended Thank you for your question and the photos. Looking at your dream boobs, I'm concerned that you are going to get a very large/heavy implant that might not keep its position well and could stretch out the pocket. This would increase the risk of implant malposition, asymmetry and the need for revisions. Withoug examining and measuring you, I can't say for sure, but I think that 350-400cc either standard dual plane beneath the muscle, or possibly subfascial with mesh support are two good options. You have a fairly high/tight IMF crease and so the subfascial plane might be good if it includes the mesh support to help lower the IMF some. Implants don't lift the breasts, they just make them bigger. Larger implants certainly don't lift the breast, they just increase the risk of complications. Revisions are expensive, so make sure you know all the things to consider and discuss with your surgeon Best of Luck!
