I’m booked in for a surgery early 2024 to get implants and my only concern is are they going to feel very alien to me for instance sleeping, will I not be able to lie on my front or running - will I “feel” them there all of the time. I’ve spoken to my dr about the natural look so not going too big 325-350cc but I want it to feel natural to me too
Answer: Implants feel natural over time In the beginning stages of healing, you will notice your implants more due to swelling and the immediate change of the size/shape of your breasts. Gradually over time, you will start to notice them less and eventually they will feel like a natural part of your body. Many patients happily accept their breasts as the new normal and forget they even had implants in the first place. However, every person is different in how they perceive changes in the body.

Answer: Breast Implants Thanks for your question! It may take some time to be comfortable with having implants, but they will soon feel like a normal part of your body. Reach out to your surgeon with any questions or concerns. Best wishes!

Answer: Implant size Dear Fierce777405, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Will I be super awre of the implants? Typically the first few months after surgery you will be very aware of your implants. Why? At the beginning you will be recovering. You'll be swollen, noticing changes as they settle, visiting your surgeon's office for follow ups, buying new bras, etc. Essentially there will be a lot more attention being paid to the breasts. Then gradually over time as they settle and soften they will feel more 'like you" and you will think about them less often. They generally will feel as natural as the rest of your body.

Answer: Implants At first, you will notice the new girls. Over time, your brain will adjust and they will feel "normal" and not alien to you.
