I lost weight and I am seeing crepey skin at the center of my neck. I want to treat it before it gets worse
Answer: Morpheus8 and/or Biostimulatory Filler Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. For treating crepey skin on the neck after weight loss, Morpheus8 is an excellent option. This treatment combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy, which can help stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin, improving its texture and appearance. Additionally, hyperdilute Radiesse or Sculptra can also be effective for adding volume and improving skin quality. Both treatments promote collagen stimulation, which can help restore firmness and elasticity in the skin. I love all of these treatments and highly recommend them. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Non-invasive treatment for crepey neck after weight loss There is no best treatment, but the underlying principal is either to apply heat to the dermis (externally, e.g. Lux IR, or subcutaneously, e.g. Thermitight, etc), stimulate tissue remodeling with controlled mechanical injury (micro needling or radio frequency micro needling, e.g. Vivace), or cause collagen shortening and contraction of the skin surface with ablative CO2 laser (Smartskin CO2), or non-ablative fractional erbium laser (e.g. Lux 1540 laser). Combinations of the above are often tried. Adjunctive measures would be skin metabolism enhancers, like retinol containing products (e.g. ZO wrinkle and texture) and Defenage (latent stem cell activators). Many practices offer some of these modalities. Patience is needed. Improvement is measured in months as the skin responds to treatment.

Answer: Non invasive treatments There are two nonsurgical options for you to consider to treat the neck area. FaceTite uses RF technology to tighten the skin. This minimally invasive procedure does not require general anesthesia. Morpheus8 can be used alone or in conjunction with FaceTite to improve overall skin tone and texture. It combines RF technology with microneedling. We invite you to visit us in our Houston office to learn more.

Answer: Tighten crepey skin by doing Morpheus8 treatments. Radiesse can help stimulate collagen growth for a more youthful look. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Post-Weight Loss Non-Surgical Treatments for Crepey (Wrinkled) Skin (neck) Thank you for your question! For crepey neck skin following weight loss, a combination of non-surgical treatments can effectively improve skin texture, promote firmness, and enhance collagen production. RF microneedling, such as Morpheus8, remains a popular choice. While Morpheus8 is highly effective, newer-generation RF microneedling devices offer greater comfort and precision. These advancements allow us to target multiple skin depths, providing controlled collagen stimulation and tightening, which is essential for restoring elasticity to crepey skin on the neck. Additionally, Renuvion is an excellent minimally invasive option for neck rejuvenation. It combines helium plasma and RF energy to achieve immediate skin contraction and long-lasting collagen stimulation. Patients often notice improved definition and reduced wrinkling within days, with results that continue to develop over time. This treatment is especially beneficial for those looking for a quick yet impactful option to address skin laxity without surgery. For a comprehensive approach, we often combine RF microneedling or Renuvion with maintenance treatments like transdermal RF (e.g., Exilis) to sustain results and support ongoing collagen production. This layered approach, especially when complemented by regenerative treatments and targeted skin products, can significantly enhance and prolong the benefits. Consulting with a skilled practitioner will help you find the right combination of treatments tailored to your skin's unique needs and goals.
