I’m sorry you have had a poor experience. I recommend Renuva for the temples as it gives the most natural results. Good luck on your continued journey!

Congratulations on your weight loss. You have several non-surgical options for the skin on the neck Including microneedling, PRP, exosomes, hyperdilute sculptura, smooth threads, and Endolift. The key is finding a provider that you are comfortable with who treats the neck often and has results in this area. I also recommend all my neck patients to be on a high quality, high dose collagen supplement. And neck skincare is mandatory to maintain your results. Good luck on your journey!

If you have fat loss, look for an injector trained in Renuva which is an acellular fat matrix and will support your own fat growth into the injected area. Results last 10+ years.

Sculptra is a great product but it doesn’t sound like the choice for you in this situation. I do not recommend fibroblast pen treatment as their results are highly unpredictable. If you need skin tightening you should look into Endolift which is much more reliable.

Sculptra or filler? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your thoughtful question. I’m glad that you are thinking about regenerative options especially in your 30s when you will respond very well!

This area will definitely respond well to Skin Pen with PRP or exosomes. I would add a daily high dose collagen supplement such as Whole Body Collagen from Designs for Health. You want to wear high quality sunscreen every single day! Also protect your skin with antioxidants!

This area can also be treated well with different laser treatment options both ablative and non ablative depending on your down time commitment.

Good luck on your aesthetic journey!

Do I need more Sculptra or filler? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for the pictures! The reason you are asking the question, it seems that you may not be satisfied with your results. From your pictures, it appears you have both volume loss and skin laxity. Sculptra helps with volume but not laxity. To improve laxity you need either a face lift or noninvasive options that are proven to tighten the skin such as Endolift. Good luck on your continued journey!

Time minimum between treatments?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Typically for superficial treatments such as acne scarring you would notice a benefit right away. However inflammation from the procedure can distract you from the results. Either way, a responsible injector will wait 2 weeks before retreating the same area.

You can also try other treatment options such as smooth threads or microneedling (SkinPen proven results for acne scarring)

Thank you for your question. It is true that a nose that has been operated on (known as the “surgical nose”) is at much higher risk from complications from filler. This is because the anatomy has changed. The nose is already a high risk injection site. I do not recommend filler in a virgin nose let alone a surgical nose. The best plastic surgeons I know won’t inject filler into a nose because they have seen all the horrific complications….it’s just not worth it!

Toxin is a different story. If your goal is to lift your tip, you may be able to try a little toxin safely. Of course a full evaluation is necessary and this is not medical advise. Good luck!

You have very strong muscle activity that will need between 20-40 units of Botox. I recommend starting at the lower end if you have never been treated before. You can always add more. You have lines at rest which is from loss of collagen and elastin. The safest way to treat this is with smooth threads. There is risk of blindness with filler in this area.

Plasma Pen, as with all aesthetic treatments, are contraindicated during pregnancy. There are no studies to indicate the safety to the growing fetus and therefore any responsible provider will not perform procedures on a pregnant patient.

Thanks for your question! This is a very interesting and thoughtful question! It is true that most fillers are made of hyaluronic acid which does attract water. Therefore if you are prone to water retention, you may notice swelling in areas that have been treated. Avoiding a diet high in processed foods is a great place to start (always high in salt) and is what I would definitely recommend. Your doctor can prescribe a low dose diuretic if appropriate. You may or may not notice any benefit from gentle lymphatic massage. The trouble with that is the hyaluronic acid attracts and binds the water very well! So try to prevent the water in the first place! This is for information purposes only. I have never met or treated this patient and we have not established a physician patient relationship.

I am wearing sleeveless clothing again!!!

I am extremely pleased w my arms. For the past years , I have gotten rid of all my sleeveless clothing. I live in Florida so it was a lot of clothes. I have had 3 treatments 6-12 mos apart. I am wearing sleeveless clothing again!!! It is not cheap but it is a great alternative to going under the knife! Dr Williams is trained in anesthesia so there was basically no pain. I am 73 years old in good health! Dr. Williams is upfront about the results, the cost and will never recommend something you shouldn't do. She has the whole idea that we are all different. We all have different needs. She has this plan to make you feel better and look better!
