Inspira 330cc moderate round gel vs 385cc high profile.

Question

Hello! I am 5ft 8.5, 125lbs with a 34 A and stuck on sizes for my upcoming BA! My PS chose either 330moderate inspira or 385high profile (both 12.25cm) I love the 330 sizers and do not like the 385’s at all! I have heard that when you go under the muscle you lose some volume, if anyone has any good information about these brands and sizes and going under the muscle that would be great! I am looking to be a perky C cup max and do not want a D as boobs just fall to the side. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the question.If you are a 34A, then either size will probably at least give you a "C" cup. Remember, that all stores measure differently, so the 385cc implant may put you at a D cup in some stores.During implant sizing with sizers, it is true that the final result may be smaller than what you see in the mirror. Once the implants are underneath the skin and muscle, they are compressed and appear smaller than when they are sitting over your breast during the sizing process.If you like the way you look with 330cc implants, you might consider a 345cc or 360cc Inspira moderate profile (SRM). The diameter is slightly wider (12.5 and 12.75). They will have less projection than the 385cc implant. If your surgeon has 3D simulation, he can simulate the surgery, so you can see what the final results might be with different sizes. By the way, I think the 385cc implant is an SRF (Full Profile)  implant with a 12.25cc diameter. Inspira does not have a high profile style.Good Luck.

Thank you for your question.  The actual size of the implant stays the same regardless which pocket is used.  However, when an implant is under the muscle it is covered by more tissue plus the muscle may push on the upper part of the implant and might make that area not as obvious-appearing.  The actual volume of the implant stays exactly the same but the final look on the upper breast might not be as obvious.

You may be an excellent candidate for breast augmentation surgery.

There are many different factors that go into choosing a breast implant size which will correspond with your body dimensions while concurrently achieving your aesthetic results. Some of these factors are: Implant size (CC's), Implant profile (Low, Moderate, High), Placement of the implant (Subglandular vs. Dual Plane) etc. We utilize smooth round cohesive silicone gel 'gummy bear' implants for the best results. 
During a consultation your aesthetic goals are heard and taken into account with the measurements of your breasts and the integrity of your tissue, as well as level of ptosis (sag). From here we collectively can find your 'perfect fit'. 
You are able to try out sizers and different implants in our office such that you can get an idea of what size you would be post-operation. We also offer Crisalix 3D plastic surgery virtual simulator during our in-person and virtual consultations to preview potential results. After your consultation, you will receive your very own implant sizers to take home with you (at a small cost) whether or not you decide to go forward with your procedure.
I usually recommend that my patients stop smoking, take vitamin C daily, and avoid aspirin/ibuprofen and vitamin E 3 weeks prior to surgery.
