What is injected into your hands during hand rejuvenation treatment? Is it safe?

There are a couple of fillers that can be used in the hands for rejuvenation and they are both safe. One of the fillers is Voluma and the other one is Radiesse. Each physician may have their own preference for which filler they like to use in the hands.

Hand Rejuvenation is a wonderful adjunct to overall rejuvenation strategies. The hands see thinning and discoloration with sun damage and aging.
There are different treatment. Two that are well known are fat transfer and treatment with either Filler, like Restylane Lyft, or Sculptra. Most optimally treating loss of soft tissue is best paired with skin treatment to reduce age spots, like retinol based creams.

Depending on the reason for the aged look in the hand, what is commonly injected is one of the following, 1. Fat (from your own body)2. Hyaluronic acid3. Sclerosants (If you have veins that are causing the aged look of the hands)
Regarding the safety profile, your doctor would have to examine you, take your co-morbidities and other factors in stride, and then explain the same.
