What is injected into your hands during hand rejuvenation treatment? Is it safe?

Most surgeons performing hand rejuvenation will inject your own fat under the skin, which is a safe procedure. This fat is usually taken from you abdomen or inner thighs.Some surgeons may use a non-permanent filler which will vary by their judgement, but use of your own fat is by far the most common and long lasting.

Either fat or fillers (in my practice, typically Radiesse) are injected into your hands for rejuvenation. While all procedures carry some risks, it is overall quite safe if done by an experienced provider.

We have had natural looking and permanent hand rejuvenation results with microdroplet Silikon-1000 for many years. As we get older, tendons and hand veins may become more prominent, and replacing volume may lead to a more youthful hand appearance.
