Age 19 and don't know if it is chest fat or gynecomastia? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I can see that you have a fair amount of body fat around the trunk and chest. The pictures are not clear but there is a possibility of gynaecomastia in your case if the glandular component is not reducing even after working out.

Depressed crater in between my eyebrows. Surgery suggestions to make it fade? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Dear 9jayc7,

From the pictures I see a depression along with discolouration of the skin.
I would recommend fat fill along with management of the hyperpigmentation through various approaches such as dermabrasion or other techniques.

What would be the best procedure to help me widen my mouth and lips? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The answer to whether you need rhinoplasty or not depends on more pictures. Left and right lateral pics + a worm’s eye view would help a surgeon assess the aesthetics of your face upto a certain extent.

Hope this helps.

Should I get fillers or Botox for hollow dent in my forehead? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Dear Anni11,

Botox - works on muscles. They paralyse the muscles and hence smoothen out any creases caused by muscles.

Fillers are gel like substances which can contour a certain area on injection.

So the ideal treatment for you would be after evaluating whether your problem os due the underlying muscles, or a contour irregularity.

Hope this advise helps.

What would be a good treatment for under eye hollows? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi Danaverno,

Under eye hollows are most commonly caused by lifestyle issues such as dehydration, lack of sleep, stress, imbalanced diet, so on. However, in some cases it can also be due to genetics, sun exposure, allergies, etc.

In the former case, lifestyle modification such as good sleep, hydration, a balanced diet does wonders to the skin and therefore the under-eye hollows.

In the latter case, such as genetics or sun exposed skin, provided you do not have any other conditions which need to be treated, hyaluronic acid fillers does wonders and masks the shadows cast by the hollows.
The decision to treat using fillers is taken only after a visit to your plastic surgeon.
Hope this answer helps.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello Forever5000,

Surgery is not a contraindication for any surgery.
Especially since you are taking it a month before, there is nothing to worry about.

All the best for your surgery. :)

What is injected into your hands during hand rejuvenation treatment? Is it safe?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi Baddie,

Depending on the reason for the aged look in the hand, what is commonly injected is one of the following,
1. Fat (from your own body)
2. Hyaluronic acid
3. Sclerosants (If you have veins that are causing the aged look of the hands)

Regarding the safety profile, your doctor would have to examine you, take your co-morbidities and other factors in stride, and then explain the same.

I hope this was helpful and that you find the right treatment option for you. :)

HydraFacial

Best Hydrafacial 1 day ago, very pleasant & experienced doctor.

Very pleasant and experienced doctor. The doctor laid out all options and explained the effects of each through which I could make my own informed decision, in comparison to those who immediately prescribe random and expensive treatments without considering what the patient wants.
