Can you have lipo in same place 10 years later?

Question

I had liposuction over 10 years ago. My legs look worse now than before. I wonder if it's a result of the lipo back then. Now it just looks like my legs need to be tightened. I have tried exilis and others and no such luck. I don't want a full body tuck or large scars on my legs or waist.

This is difficult to answer without pictures. If you're a candidate, you can have revision liposuction in the same areas. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. The skin tone plays the biggest factor in whether or not it makes sense to have revision liposuction.  If the skin has good tone then it is reasonable to consider.

Yes, lipo can be done on the same area as before, if you are a candidate. Loose skin will not improve with liposuction.

Thank you for your question.  It is difficult to determine without any photos.  You may be a good candidate for a liposuction revision if there is excess fat in that area.  Laser liposuction would help tighten the skin.  You may also be a good candidate for thermtight if the area has mild to moderate skin laxity.  An in person consultation would be best to give precise recommendations.  Make sure you are working with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in this area.

Traditional liposuction is very limited and only removes a partial amount of fat. I highly recommend a procedure like VASER liposuction. VASER eliminates all fat and removes contour irregularities. Consult with a VASER specialist to address all your questions.
