I had 450cc buttock implant surgery in this 9 th may. Its been 18 days still i feel uncomfortable.My doc advice i can sleep side and in stomach.But whenever i fold my leg i feel pain in my butt.Cant fold my leg properly. After surgery i never seat at all except when i use bathroom.Is there any way that i can seat a bit?And my incision area is totaly numb is that normal? After how many month i can intimate with my husband? Minimum how many days it will take to be lil comfortable? Cant fold my leg

Dear Indiana girl,   Thanks for posting your picture. Since you are still in discomfort at 3 weeks after surgery, I assume that your implants were placed in the  intra muscular plane, because the other technique , sub fascia (the one I use) heals much faster. My patients are able to sit immediately after surgery and they just have to sit leaning forward, in order to avoid too much pressure on the wound.   As far as being intimate with your partner, my patients are permitted to do it after 6 weeks and this applies also to going to the gym or heavy lifting. These precautions are intended to avoid break down of the wound or hematoma.   I hope that you will get answers to your questions also  from  surgeons who use the intra muscular technique.                           All the best,                                              Dr Widder

At this stage of your recovery, it normal to have some pain or discomfort but its important to note if its getting better or worse with time.    You should go to your surgeon for a complete in person evaluation.  The right surgeon will listen to your concerns and go over your options.  Be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known in the community for it.
