3 weeks PO weird mark and bumpy line under breast (Photos)

Question

I'm 3 weeks PO anchor lift and 500cc implants under muscle. My left breast was more saggy and needed more work then right. Left has seemed tighter underneath and more tender i happened to reach high to grap a falling bottle out of my medicine cabinet. I noticed this pulling feeling. And touched there. It is a raised line vertical to the horizontal incision line. Any clue what this could be? I do have appt next week but they are always rushed.

Hello, an inflamed vein called a Mondor's cord can look like this, but your surgeon will be able to make a proper diagnosis based on their examination.  Mondor's is a benign condition that can happen after breast surgery.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears that you are suffering from a Mondor's cord.  This is an irritation and inflammation of a superficial vein and is best treated with warm compresses and NSAIDs.  Hope this helps.

Because of the lift and implants your tissues are much much tighter than before surgery. Those bands you see are normal connective tissue that suddenly is much tighter. They should relax over time. Show to your PS to be sure. Good luck.

That might represent a Mondor's cord which can be painful and represent a superficial thrombophlebitis. You would have to be seen in person to be sure.  This can often be treated with warm compresses and anti-inflammatories.

Thank you for your question.  What you are describing  his Mondor's disease which is a small inflammation of a vein beneath the surface of the skin.   This is usually self-limited  and responds well to warm soaks and anti-inflammatories however please see your surgeon for examination, diagnosis  and treatment plan.
