Hello , I really want to get a hair transplant and my mother gave me consent to get one, however I read that hair surgeons are reluctant to work on a such young patient . I have had a naturally high hairline since I was a kid , and back then my hairline did not bother me , but as I've gotten older the kids at school makes me self conscious. They've made me so self conscious to the point I wear a hat literally EVERYWHERE , and Suicidal thoughts, and I'm so tired of it . I want minor procedure don

Answer: Suicidal thoughts and hair transplant surgery do not go together.

The direction of the hairs will not change over time. If it's an issue for you, you should talk to your doctor about what may have happened, since this would have happened due to inconsistencies during the surgery.
Each hair gives through its intrinsic hair cycle and sometimes it may take up to two years for all the hairs to grow in. But most of the growth usually happens between 9-12 months.
Your doctor explained this will happen, right? Transplanted hairs usually falls out in days to weeks and after about a month you may look like (or worse) than prior to surgery. It takes months to start seeing new hairs grow out.
