I've had a FUE beard transplant about 3 months ago and have had really good growth. On one side of my face the hair is growing in a very good direction, downwards and close to the skin. On the other side of my face however, and I think this is based on the fact a different medical professional was working on each side separately, the hair grows outwards and backwards towards my ear. Do you think both sides will eventually grow in the preferred downward direction?

Answer: If the doctor made the incision in the wrong angle, your hairs will grow in the wrong angle.

Each hair gives through its intrinsic hair cycle and sometimes it may take up to two years for all the hairs to grow in. But most of the growth usually happens between 9-12 months.
Your doctor explained this will happen, right? Transplanted hairs usually falls out in days to weeks and after about a month you may look like (or worse) than prior to surgery. It takes months to start seeing new hairs grow out.
Hello, please see below for some helpful information. We advise to avoid sexual activity for first week after hair transplantation. The rationale is to avoid increasing blood pressure. There are no studies supporting this however.
