With some particular hair styles , my hair looks good but mostly it doesn't. Can I fix this with hair transplant or is there any other option ? I haven't faced hair loss but in the past couple of months I am losing hair and the density is a bit reduced. The difference could be seen only when my hair is wet
Answer: It's YOUR decision It's YOUR decision to have surgery or not have surgery. You don't look bald. You don't even look like a person with a big forehead from photos. It's not for me or anyone to judge your forehead size. If you don't like it, then you can do something about it. First you would need to see a doctor for an examination and understand all the risks involved while having a clear goal and realistic expectations. This is best done at the doctor's office.

Answer: Early male hair loss. The most effective means of treating this is with a hairline advancement with an Irregular Trichophytic procedure which allows hair to grow thru and not behind the scar. It is cheaper than hair transplants and there is no texture change of the hair. The results are immediate. With either procedure you should wait to begin until you see whether you will have enough hair remaining to finish a hair procedure. If in the future you have more hair loss after a hairline advancement you can still have hair transplants or the Fleming-Mayer Flap procedure.

Answer: You certainly have a high hairline, but don't worry yet! It does look like you have a high hairline, but I don't think you need grafting yet. There are medical therapies you should consider (Propecia, Rogaine). Also, how old are you? The decision to graft needs to take a lot of other thing in to consideration -- your age, health, family hair patterns, etc. Certainly you don't want to wait until it's too late, but don't jump the gun either. Have a consultation with a hair surgeon in your area and see what recommendations they may have. Good luck!

Answer: Forehead Surgery can be done to correct the forehead but the result may not be long standing if you are losing hair. Any family history of male pattern baldness and your age has to be taken into consideration.

Answer: Big forehead in family line Forehead reduction surgery comes in two types, the first is a surgical procedure that gives you same day results, the second is a hair transplant that takes 6-7 months to see. For men, my only concern is in the potential balding that may occur as most balding starts about your age and advances until the mid-thirties. If that happened to you (your risk) then you will have to get a hair transplant to cover it as the frontal area is the place that genetic balding starts in the young man. On my website, there are great pictures of hair transplant lowering procedures in women on our Home Page and in our gallery on our website (see below), you can see hundreds of men who had their hairline replaced, lowered or improved.
