Will minoxidil work the 2nd time after amazing results the 1st time?

Hi, I started using minoxidil 5% once daily less than 1 ml(to avoid side effects) a year ago and experienced amazing result. Everything was going fine but for last two months i used it very irregularly like twice in a week like that and hair loss is back. So I started again regularly but shedding a lot just like when i started the treatment 1 year ago.so can i expect a good result after shedding or it finished? 25 year old male

We have found that males who have good results with minoxidil and then stop for prolonged periods of time do not achieve quite the same good effects again. Yes, you can get improvement but it might not be as profound as the first time.

Unless there has been some change I would expect a good result if you use it consistently. The good news is that you have not stopped it completely.

Sometimes this drug works miracles, but you must stay on it regularly, likes once each night after a hot shower.
