Can I combine topical Finasteride (5% Min + 0.1% Fin) and oral Finasteride 1 mg 2 years post transplant?

Can I use 1ml of topical fin (5% Min + 0.1% Fin) in the morning and 1mg of oral Finasteride for efficacy? I'm on Oral Fin 1mg for past 2 years. My hair fall is  low density throughout scalp. When slight receding on both temples was noticed my dermatologist prescribed 1 mg Oral Finasteride, 2 years now there has been no further receding of hair line and hair fall is in control, but density has not increased.
