Is rice water helpful for hair growth?

i have heard in many articles and beauty forums that fermented rice water helps in hair growth due to the amount of vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants, amino acids prresent? is this really true. please advice.

I am not aware of any reproducible research that supports the use of fermented rice water  to treat hair loss. Best to stick with the licenced medications - topical minoxidil and oral finasteride. Other treatments like low level light therapy and platelet rich plasma have some limited evidence for efficacy.

I found the following on the internet:  "The amino acids present in rice water, in particular, help in the regeneration of hair and aid faster growth of your hair. Also, rice water contains vitamins B, C, and E, which further help in hair growth (7). The best way to use rice water to grow hair is to rinse your hair with it after a wash."
