Losing hair - J hook and dark black at hair end. Are these actual grafts that will never grow? (Photo)

It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.  Hairs that look like "J" does not mean it is a lost graft.

J hairs reflect a placing problem at the time the grafts were placed into the recipient area. I think that if these hairs grow, they may not grow normally,
