Thanks for the question. After 4-6 weeks your surgery area will healed and yes you can doing yoga and also do other activities. I wish you all the best.
Thank you for your question, ankkkit. It is great that you waited a month after the procedure to consider yoga. Our patients have resumed normal activity - including headstand yoga - within one month after surgery, but because you are not my patient, it would be best if you were to contact the board certified facial plastic surgeon who performed your procedure to receive their advice and to remain on the same page as you move forward. Best wishes,
There is no reason why you cannot return to your regular activities 4 weeks after an FUE hair transplant. Hair transplants need to be protected from prolonged Sun exposure for about 4 months after a procedure. So you can perform your headstand Yoga exercise but be sure that it is not in the Sun until after 4 months post procedure.
There should be no issues with yoga after a month but if you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.
Please perform yoga if you enjoy the practice of yoga. You are correct that headstands cause a rush of blood to the head. Headstands do absolutely nothing for helping hair loss or healing of the FUE.
You should be completely healed by one month and it is safe to return to your normal exercise routine including yoga and head stand at this point.
At one month you can do what you want, all types of yoga are in. You should be completely healed with no crusts present on the scalp for at least one week before attempting these type of activites.
Thank you for your question. You are in the very initial stages of your healing process. Your healing thus far seems fine, but you should be sure to follow your board certified facial plastic surgeon's healing guidelines diligently and remain patient.Best wishes,
It's hard to say based on just a picture but at 7.5 months your hair likely has significant growth still left to do. I would wait until 12 months before worrying, as that is when most doctors consider the hair to be fully grown. From there you can consult with your doctor if you are...
If you had a bad hair transplant result, electrolysis may not be the best way to fix it. See a doctor for an examination first.
