A fat grafting procedure as you very well know will lead to deposits of fat more than the volume you actually desire in the initial stages but will gradually settle down. Initial massage should help settle any clumps of fat deposits that are found over the region of fat grafting. If it has been over a week since your fat grafting sitting post subcision, it seems like the fat deposit has either clumped up or formed a lipoid cyst in the subcutaneous plane. Ideally it would be something to intervene by your current provider. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query. Dr. Pranav Reddy Jambula

I suggest you discuss this with your provider. The procedure you had is not a straightforward or easy one. Often a substantial amount of the fat will die overtime in the folders should settle down. It’s still pretty early in the process. You’re only a week out from the procedure. Follow up with your provider.
