Vaginal dryness and pain during intercourse after 6 sessions of laser hair removal in vaginal area

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good morning ritib,
I hope this response finds you well. From what I can gather you are suffering form dyspareunia ( painful intercourse ) due to lack of lubrication that you think may be related to your laser hair removal. Although the possibility of the procedure leading to vaginal dryness is present it isnt high. if that is indeed the cause - then please refrain from further procedures for some time. Also causes for vaginal dryness can be sexual intercourse related as well so I would suggest that you get your gynaecologist consultation as well for a holistic approach. I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Is Bellafill permanent? 34 yo, how to reduce the nasolabial folds? Are there any long term fillers? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning wishes02,
I hope this message finds you well. From what I can gather your main concern is to do with premature ageing of your face - particularly the nasolabial folds region. I do see that they are pronounced even in a neutral position and I would say that can easily be corrected with Fillers. They would help you look more youthful without giving you an artificial look. Fillers do last for around a year mostly and sometimes for a couple of years as well. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

How long should I wait after fat transfer to lips to kiss/makeout? Is fat transfer to lips a permanent option? Thank you.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning Confidence111,
I hope this message finds you in good health. From what I can gather from the minimal information you have provided you are concerned with the downtime after a fat augmentation. Vigorous kissing and making out should be avoided for a period of 6 weeks. Application of any lip balm over the lips after augmentation can be done within a few days. Fat augmentation is a much more long term approach to plump up lips but the volume that fat provides will reduce significantly from the time of administration to a range of anywhere between 40 to 60 %. Fat does not last forever but does last for a few years time which is longer than fillers. I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Are there any creams or serums I can use to treat my acne scars? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning jayin,
I hope this response finds you in good health. I can understand your condition can be distressing for a woman of your age and especially since it is all over your face. Unfortunately once a scar has formed a topical ointment would not be the best way forward. I would suggest Acne treatment via lasers or subcision with fat grafting procedures. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

How should I get my asymmetrical eyes fixed? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good morning VanshikaAgarwal09,
I hope this message finds you in good stead. From what I can gather from your images and your query - you are concerned with varying scleral show / opening of your eyes on one side compared to the other. There are two things that must be treated here in my opinion - One - Ptosis - which can be corrected via an ophthalmologic surgeon. The other being a blepharoplasty - would help to increase the scleral show and there by equating your eye openings. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Sensitive teeth 1.5 years after genioplasty when touching the mandible. What can be causing this?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning SreenathNair,
I hope this response finds you in good health. From what I can gather you are having quite severe pain throughout and tenderness on palpation of your genioplasty scar region. From the images I can see the location of the end plates seems approximated close to the roots of the teeth. That could be the source of your pain. Since it has been over a year now - the nerve roots should have reformed enough to have an alternative pain point having had developed. The treatment for this is medical and via massage mostly. A quick review with your operating surgeon would be the best thing to start off as well. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

How will rhinoplasty correct my nose/get it narrow/structured? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good morning sakshi.cuddly,

I hope this message finds you well. From what I can gather from your complaints and your images - you do have a broad bony base for your nose which is giving you a wider look with more of it over your left side. Along with a deviated nasal septum you may be suffering from a bulbous nasal tip. A combination of a septorhinoplasty with a low to low osteotomy and if needed an ala restructuring with cartilage grafts should give you better definition, a midline aligned nose and a sharper nasal tip. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Do I have a high hairline and would a Hair Transplant or Hairline Lowering procedure be best for me? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning nysa.devgan,

I hope this message finds you well. I am not sure if these are real images of the person with the query but I am going to assume they are. From what I can gather from your images - you are worried about your exposed forehead being larger for your face. In aesthetic surgery we consider something called the golden ratio where the forehead and the middle third of the face and the lower third should be in equal proportion. In such a condition as to finding that golden ratio distorted, you do have both options on the table of a forehead reduction and a hair transplant. I personally would recommend a reduction surgery so that we dont distort your beautiful natural hairline and give you the naturally slimmer forehead you desire. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Am I good candidate for buccal fat removal? I am considering getting it done but worried it will make me look old? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good morning Magical4233,

I hope this message finds you well. From what I gather you are undergoing a 360 degree body liposuction with a chin and neck liposuction as well and are considering getting a buccal fat removal? If you are undergoing a chin and neck liposuction yhour jawline and chin would definitely get well augmented and defined. From what I can gather from your images - it would seem that a buccal fat removal would accentuate even better definition of your jaw and thin out your cheeks. If anything it would add to your youthful exuberance. Usually anywhere between 3-4 ml of fat can be removed from each side's buccal fat. That is a decision that can be taken at a later stage once you recover from your liposuction as well as it is an outpatient procedure. Although an image is a great starting point , I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.

Nose job and smoking - should I cancel if I only stopped smoking four days before surgery?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Good Morning poppyqueen,

I hope this message finds you well. We always advise that in an ideal scenario our client / patient should not have smoked or ingested any form of alcohol or nicotine substances for a period of 4 to 6 weeks prior to surgery and around 6 months post surgery to achieve the best results. But , I know that is a lot to ask so at the very minimum a stoppage of smoking 2 weeks prior to surgery and a month post surgery is indicated. Since this is an elective procedure, doing all within your realm of control to achieve ideal aesthetic results is both your and my (as your surgeon) responsiblity. I would recommend a video consultation / in person consultation with a board certified Aesthetic Plastic surgeon to take this forward and thoroughly answer your query.
