I’m looking to elongate the medial canthus and the lateral canthus as well as upturn the lateral canthus to achieve (fox eye aesthetic) what’s the difference between canthoplasty and canthopexy. I read traditional canthoplasty method is unable to achieve substantial elongation and causes retraction what method is best to achieve elongation of the inner and outer canthus ?

Hi thanks for your query. normally the lateral canthus is set slightly higher than medial canthus but as I can see in your pics its at same level or lower. so all u need is lateral canthopexy which can be easily done under local anaesthesia for effective results.

Lower eyelid retraction involves elevating the lower eyelids which is a speciliazed procedures. Tarsal strip is not the same thing. Best to see an expert for discussion and determine what procedure you need.
