Hello, i was punched in the nose about 8 weeks ago, i took a ct scan which showed no fracture whatsoever, however, i have noticed that the left side wall of my nose is swollen, not sure if this is permanent, or if there's in-fact some sort of fracture even though the ct-scan didn't show any? thanks,

Answer: Fractures of the nasal cartilage may not show on CAT scan or x-ray.
Some women can retain fluid from pregnancy for many months afterwards. If you have an injectable filler procedure while you are still swollen from pregnancy, it could lead to a somewhat larger and swollen nasal appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
