Hi! I had an explant/lift done almost a year ago. I was hoping my breast would be tighter and be perkier. My doctor say it's a good outcome and can't be improved upon. I am mostly happy with the results but I still feel there is too much loose skin and that the slope is not quite right. Can anything be done to reduce the loose skin and make the areola less puffy? Is there anything that could be done to make the nipples point up more and to reduce the looseness above the breast?

Your plan is very reasonable and has been advocated for by Plastic Surgeons at various meetings. Yes, your implants can be punctured, the saline will be reabsorbed naturally by your body and you will have some more information about a lift or no lift.
The costs for deflation should be fairly low, but will vary from location to location. I would suggest calling surgeons in your area and ask for the price of consultation and draining the implants. Once emptied, you still will want to remove the empty bags for comfort.
While it is possible the veins will improve after explant, I believe it would be unlikely to change significantly. It sounds as though the veins are dilated (opened up larger), and not likely to contract easily on their own.
