Improvements after explant/lift? Can anything be done to reduce the loose skin and make the areola less puffy? (Photo)

Hi! I had an explant/lift done almost a year ago. I was hoping my breast would be tighter and be perkier. My doctor say it's a good outcome and can't be improved upon. I am mostly happy with the results but I still feel there is too much loose skin and that the slope is not quite right. Can anything be done to reduce the loose skin and make the areola less puffy? Is there anything that could be done to make the nipples point up more and to reduce the looseness above the breast?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  There may be the possibility of a revision to remove additional loose skin from your breasts to achieve an improved result.  I would consult with your surgeon or seek a second opinion through an in-person examination of your tissues.

Just based on your photos, excess skin could be removed from the inframmary fold to help tighten your breasts. You do need to be examined to see if anything else might be useful.

Since you are at least 1 year out from surgery, you should be fine to get a revision on the lift procedure.  Volume could be added using fat grafting as well.  In short, you do have options and I recommend you discuss these with other Board Certified Plastic Surgeons as you go through your decision making process.
