How to Improve the Appearance of my Nose?

On photos like the ones provided my nose looks very odd...I know I have a small dorsal hump...but what exactly is the problem and what can be done to aesthetically approve it?

A rhinoplasty with removal of the hump and refinement of the tip will improve the appearance of your nose. See an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and look at his work. It should look natural.

From this limited view, it appears that the bump is creating a high shadow on the nose. The tip cartilages are also very vertically oriented, which creates the deep shadowing over the nostril crease. This is sometimes referred to as a parenthesis deformity.

	One or both of those issues can be addressed by routine rhinoplasty techniques.

	More specific information and perhaps imaging of a potential result would be obtained at a formal consultation.

The nose is slightly pinched at the area between the eyes, a hump is present, and it appears bottom-heavy. The hump could be removed, bridge narrowed, and your tip may need a minor amount of improvement as well.
