Late growth after HT, is it real?

Is there anyone of you doctors who actually saw any of these late bloomers, or is it just a some urban legend. I refer to patients that had little/sparse growth until the 8th month, but 12-18 months after the ht, the hair grew as it meant to be after successful ht?

It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions
It may take 6 to 12 months to see the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to discuss it with your doctor.

Growth after 8 months post-op is not usual, but possible. Usually this occurs in the crown (vertex) area, or in areas where there is scar tissue.

At 12 months you are at about 90% growth. Between months 12 - 18 there will be some additional growth and thickening of the transplanted hair.
