I've got headaches after anti wrinkle relaxers, will they go away?

I had 52ml of anti wrinkle relaxers injected in my crows, forehead and glabella and 6 weeks on I still get headaches around my temples and forehead. I just want it to disappitate. This was the first time I've had Botox. Will it get any better?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Typically headaches develop in the first day or two after treatment with a neuromodulator and not for several weeks thereafter. I would revisit your injector for an in-person evaluation and discussion of your current side-effects.  Best wishes.

I assume you had a total of 52 units of Botox to areas of the face and although unusual headaches are reported for a few days after injection and will go away by themselves in a few days

some patients do experience a slight headache after botox or other neuromodulators.  Usually these headaches are mild and last 1-2 days.  If you headache has been persistent or severe you should contact your physician for an evaluation.

Headaches can happen after the first time having Botox. In my experience they typically only occur after the first injection. My patients that had a headache after their first injection with Botox, have not had a headache after their second injection. The good news is, you'll wake up one morning and it'll be gone. That being said, it is definitely worth it to revisit your injector and discuss with them your symptoms.
