Sudden bulging blue vein on forehead after Botox, how do I get rid of this? (photos)

Question

After my first round of Botox(not sure if this is relevant) I noticed that I was developing a bulging vein on forehead. It seems to just have severely popped out, although it's retracted again as I type this. The worst it ever looked, I also had the most severe cluster headache behind the eye correlating behind the vein. Im afraid of IPL. Common for me, responses from a dr such as this, "that isn't common", or, "I've never seen a reaction like this before". So minimally invasive would be ideal.

As near as I can figure, this is the result of weakening the forehead muscles that normally have tone and keep the vein collapsed.  Absent this muscle tension-boom, the vein jumps out of the forehead.  Fortunately there is a much better way to have botox done.  Look up the Microdroplet Lift.  This is a patented method that only treats the brow depressing muscles. The muscle in the forehead is left untreated so no popping veins.

Hello,As the panel member suggested, it's not unusual for veins to become more visible when the muscle in the area is relaxed.  This may happen as well with filler when a filler product elevates vessels, and the patient becomes more aware for the first time of these pesky veins.  Using less Botox in the forehead muscle to allow for more movement may be helpful in the future.  However, the fact that you indicated you are experiencing a new onset of headaches behind your eye in the same area is cause to have this, in particular, evaluated by your primary care physician.

The vein has always been there but not seen because the muscles hid it but with relaxation of the muscles with  Botox the vein showed up.  It may subside somewhat and the headache will definitely go away
