Greetings, I am caught between Ideal structure implant mod + profile. 270cc / 305cc or 300cc /340cc. Details about my body structure. 5'4, 114lbs bwd 11.5 ,34 a or aa Bf 4 children (4.5 years of combined bf) My goal is a natural looking breast with a slope. I wouldn't mind a larger breast but I'm fearful that my final results will look tight and artificial. My surgeon will put the implants under my muscle and the incision site is through the armpit. Will 35cc difference make a drastic appearance?
Answer: How to select the best Ideal Implant size for me?? Ask Dr Ellen Congratulations on selecting an excellent implant! My patients love them! Here is a simple way to help you determine size: try on sizers that are 275cc, 300cc, 325cc and 350cc. Use a simple cotton stretch bra with front clip closure. I use Fruit of the Loom for this purpose in the office.Compare them and see which size meets your goals and expectations. Based on your dimensions, ht, wt, photo and the post op pics you included, my guess is that the 270-305cc will look most natural and not too tight. Keep in mind, you would be wise to choose a size that you'll be happy with for years to come and that will always look sexy, not boxy/heavy or matronly. You're on the right track! In good health,Ellen Mahony, MD

Answer: Implant Sizing Could Help 35cc is small, about the size of a "shot". On the other hand, it is a 10% difference for a 350cc implant. I find the best way to help patients decide is to have them try on both sizes in a bra. This is not perfect, but gives them an idea what that volume will look like ahead of time. I have used the Vectra, but I dont find it terribly helpful. Most patients pick 'the big one' looking at the torso on the computer screen.

Answer: 2 tablespoons The difference in the implants you're referring to amounts to about 2 tablespoons. One of the number one reasons to return for future surgery after implants is to go larger. If you're on the fence I would choose the larger implant. Good luck

Answer: IDEAL Implant Sizing Hi Maryanne, Thanks for your question. Many of our thin patients, such as yourself, are particularly happy with their results from IDEAL structured breast implants. You can count on having a nice, natural result. A 35cc difference in implant size is very small and would be imperceptible to most people. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Ideal implants sizes I think the difference in sizes you are describing are too small to get overly worried about. It sounds like either one will give you a great result. I leave you with this question that should help you o decide. In case you don't get the "perfect" result you are looking for with respect to size, will you be happier being just a bit larger or smaller? Good luck.
