It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.
We recommend you follow the instructions of your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon on their preferred post operative hair care, but we feel this would be reasonable so long as you are not lathering over the graft areas itself. It would be ok for the product to wash over the graft site, but just not physically manipulated. Otherwise, the non-grafted areas would be fine to resume normal conditioner use.
I recommend the use of hair conditioner to treat the dry scalp after all of my hair transplants, FUE or strip
Redness after a year is not the norm and needs an in-person evaluation. I am curious as to why you're shaving your head a year after having an FUE procedure?
Ridges on the scalp do not affect the results of an FUE procedure. If you are concerned, meet with your surgeon for an assessment.
