While using a tanning bed can damage the skin, it should not affect the results of a CoolSculpting procedure. You should also be aware that you may have some temporary numbness of the area that was treated, so it would be possible to burn your skin without knowing if you tan too long.

While use of a tanning bed will not affect your CoolSculpting results, it can lead to premature aging and skin damage as well as heighten your risk of skin cancer.
